 Marvel Comics Photographer: Baron Karza See more images of Ms. Marvel Since Major Carol Danvers first appeared in the silver age of comics, she's had a number of aliases: Binary, Warbird, even Captain Marvel. She's part alien, she's had her own self titled series, even teamed up with The Avengers and the X-Men. She can fly, she has super strength, she can fire laser blasts from her fingertips and she could kick your butt without all that. She's sort of a big deal. She's Ms. Marvel! I began cosplaying in 2007 with Animosity Cosplay and despite previous efforts Ms. Marvel is my first foray into American Comics cosplay, first time patterning for stretch and the first time making my own shoes.
