All my costumes are made with my cousin and my boyfriend. And Effie is one of my favorites. D13

Her style is awesome.

The shoes were the trickiest part of making. The details to get as close as possible to the original require a lot of patience.

Effie is the District 12 escort and at Mockingjay we can meet her "rebel side". It is very interesting seeing the progress she has in movies since have changed a bit the way she takes on the books (which was a very welcome change).

Effie is very optimistic. She always sees the bright side of things and is the part that joins the team. She is always there to help. I used this cosplay three times, two for shoots and to see the movie in theaters. I still plan to go to a convention with it.

The reception from the fans is the best possible. I used this cosplay at an event where some people already knew me and yet seemed to still be surprises. Always ask to take a picture.

Effie is my favorite character in The Hunger Games, so it’s easy to learn some quirks it. I try to get as close as possible of her personality.

I do cosplay for almost four years and I intend to continue for much longer.
