I made the costume using an existing body suit and skirt. I sewed the 'S' crest on the chest, made the cape, sewed a crest onto the cape and shortened the skirt all by hand. This is based on her look in the comics in the 1990's.

I've always loved Superman and naturally have a soft spot for his cousin, Kara. I put my own spin on this by making her dark haired. She looks more like her cousin now :)
