Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Photographer: Autumn Fox Photography Atris is a hardened woman; drowning in feelings of betrayal by the Exile, Meetra Surik, and the constant influence of being surrounded by Sith holocrons has driven her to near madness. Already a proud woman, she attempts to live out the Jedi ideals to the last letter, despite letting her emotions actually rule her judgments. She tries very hard to be the personification of the Light side, yet constantly causes ruin. She caused the near extinction of the Jedi Order by leaking the secret meeting on Katarr in hopes of finding the source of darkness stalking them - instead Darth Nihilus arrived and annihilated all life on the planet. She held the Exile in such high regard, that when Meetra chose to follow Revan to war, Atris saw this as a massive slap to the face. She respected Meetra and assumed she held the same values she did - and the fact that Meetra was so sure of what she did caused great conflict within Atris. I just find her to be a fascinating character, and wish the game hadn't been rushed so she could have been better developed. I wore Atris to Celebrations V and VI; Megacon 2012, and Tampa Bay Comic Con 2013. Many people really get excited when they see me. I haven't had too many complaints other than the fact my lightsaber is garbage (noted). I'm actually surprised more people haven't been annoyed that I chose blue for my tabards instead of following the game model of pure white. I based my costume off a fan art painting done by Aimo - I liked the blue because it photographs better, and gives the eye more to look at than a big white blob. The tabards were the most difficult part of the costume to create. I've always liked dressing up for Halloween and such. I never really considered dressing up for conventions until Celebration V came to Orlando, and I decided I really wanted to pay my respects to the franchise I love so dearly. It's just kind of taken off from there. I've been making costumes for three years. Cosplayer: Mowse
