Everything was made by me. For the costume I used elastic white fabric and black ribbon for detailing, the patterns were hand drawn using colour pencil and fabric marker. The dress, cloak and sleeve were ‘double layered’ so it’s not see through and all the stitches could be concealed nicely. The costume is very durable and comfortable as I made everything with industrial standard.

The bendable fake arm was made of Worbla and craft foam, I actually failed 3 times while making the elbow part and it took me a week to finish the product. I used comic ink instead of black spray paint so the colour won’t fall off also create the glossy surface.

The sword was also made of Worbla and craft foam, I hand crafted 40 decorative flowers for the handle.

Costume itself wasn’t difficult however I made TWO exactly the same costumes, one set for normal display and the spear one for the ‘blood bath’ version (I used acrylic red paint as fake blood), so the construction time was doubled.

Zero is a tragic character, she kills, she destroy, she misbehave, but everything she does is saving the world.

Zero is a very unique character, most of my followers know me as Lightning, so Cosplaying such a violent character really amazed them.

I’ve been Cosplaying and making props since November 2013. I like getting into characters and making costumes. It started as a fun hobby but the more characters I do the more serious I treat Cosplay.
