The thing that fascinated me most about Akali and her bloodmoon skin in particular is the fact how militant, but at the same time elegant and kind of mature she looks. That’s the image I kept in mind as I sewed the outfit and crafted her mask (the weapons are made by a good friend of mine) and also while wearing the costume.

The difficoult part about this cosplay is the depiction. Since Akali is a game character and lacks that kind of depth a storybased character has I had to interpret a lot more based on her playstyle and poses she does in the game. Furthermore her weapons are made of wood and really heavy thanks to that - carrying those things around and posing gets rather exhausting.

Regardless of that I really like wearing this costume and dealing with having sore muscles the following day. ;)
