Rin "Orin" Kaenbyou is a character from Touhou Project and she is a "hell-cat". She is one of Satori’s pets, whose job is to carry corpses to the former Hell of Blazing Fires to regulate its heat.

I found Orin through another cosplayer and fell in love with her design. Touhou has many pretty character, but Orin is exactly my color scheme. Last year I was looking for a quick cosplay for Halloween and I came back to Orin. Well, she’s not that scary, but she has a creepy side.

The cosplay itself took me longer than I wanted, but I’m very happy with the outcome.

So far, I’ve worn this cosplay twice: once for our Halloween photo shooting and a second time this year during a convention. For the convention I improved the cosplay with adding fangs.

I really enjoy wearing this cosplay and although it was more a spontaneous idea for Halloween, it turned out to be one of my favorite cosplays. Now, I just hope to have a Touhou cosplay group in the future.
