Sucy Manbavaran is Akko's friend and roommate, a cynical, mischievous witch from the Philippines. She has advanced knowledge of alchemy and is very skilled in creating potions. She has an uncanny interest in mushrooms, and uses them in most of her recipes. She often uses Akko as a test subject, or to help her in gathering the poisonous or hazardous ingredients she needs.
