This is my Pocahontas cosplay. For me the most interesting parts of the costume are the feathers and gems. I actually deviated from the original Disney Design. I made it this way to make it more regal. She is a daughter of a Chief. She is technically a Princess.

I sewed the costume myself. I even made the headdress which I felt I should have done more. As for the necklace, I had it commissioned to my dearest friend from Millefrilly.

We had to travel out of the city to get this beautiful place where there’s a waterfall. It’s around 2-3 hours drive away from my city.

I became interested in cosplay through my love for anime and manga. I have been making costumes for around 5-6 years.
