Considering that, before Metrocon 2011, that I hadn't seen a palm tree in 16 years, I was VERY excited to go out and take some photos amongst them! I would like to think that this resembles the battle in Rio de Janero from Hellsing OVA III... at least, I thought so when I was spazzing out and posing for these photos. XD

The military jacket, skirt, Harkonnen rifle, and wig styling were completed with love by me. The gloves were purchased, then altered by me. This was the first costume that I ever made that included full contact lenses and prosthetic teeth.

I'm very excited to have gone all out on this. I adore this character! I also deeply identify with her. This was a very special costume to make for me. Loads of work went into making this and I consider it a definite labor of love. It was a challenge and an absolute pleasure to make all of this.
