Kyoshi Warrior Suki / Avatar: The Last Airbender

The costume is entirely handmade, from patterns to the finishwork, by me. I actually made four copies of the costume, one for me and one for three of my friends, to wear as a group at Anime Boston 2011. It took probably 350 - 400 hours of work and roughly $800 to outfit all four of us. Each costume has over 90 eyelets in it for lacing on the armor; I put in something like 370 eyelets by hand, with pliers!
