 The Perplexity of Haruhi Suzumiya Photographer: Swoz See more images of Haruhi Suzumiya Haruhi Suzumiya is an eccentric girl seeking supernatural phenomena and figures such as aliens, time travelers and espers. She is incredibly anti-social, with no interest in "ordinary" humans. She establishes a club to investigate mysterious events, the SOS Brigade, and recruits three additional members: the silent bibliophile Yuki Nagato, the shy and timid Mikuru Asahina, and the friendly transfer student Itsuki Koizumi. These members soon reveal themselves to her friend Kyon as the extraordinary characters Haruhi is seeking. She also, unknown to her, has the god-like abilities to change, destroy, and reshape reality. It is said that if she were to become bored enough with the world, she could simply erase it and start a new one.
