 Mawaru Penguindrum 輪るピングドラム Photographer: Tom Good See more images of Ringo Mawaru Penguindrum is an unusual anime, with a plot that's hard to explain. The director is Kunihiko Ikuhara, who is best known for also directing the 1997 anime "Revolutionary Girl Utena". Mawaru Penguindrum can best be described with these words: Destiny, penguins, love, and curry. And without a doubt, it's my favorite anime of all time. These photos are from two of my favorite photoshoots of all time. The first three were taken in the Newport Aquarium in Newport, OR. We drove for about 4 hours both ways to get these shots, and we were lucky enough to pick a day where they had very few visitors so that we could get the shots of me in the shark tunnel. Usually, the tunnels are completely packed with people! It was an all-day project that was definitely fun. The last two photos were taken at the Oregon Zoo, which was also a fun trip.
