Lightning is a character that I admire a lot, probably one of the only ones. I really appreciate her appearance, style and determination, and a lot of people around me tell me that I look like her.

I always wanted to make an armor costume, and when I saw Lightning in this outfit, obviously I felt I must do her like that. It was a dream challenge to make an armor costume, and I’m proud of it, even if I missed some details because of lack of time. All the costume is made from craftfoam and yoga mat, even the sword. I don’t have the necessary equipment to work better materials like wood for the sword or shield, and it’s really a nice material to work with.
