So this has been my first foray into costuming and has been a labor of love for some time now. Halo Reach is my favorite game and I wanted to bring my multiplayer character to life.

This entire costume has been a learning experience with many new mediums for me. This started as Pepakura and thanks to the many talented designers who created all of the original source files. I wanted to do a hybrid foam and fiberglass build. Although not so flexible it looks so amazing with the combination of gloss surfaces from paint and the matte finish of the foams. For me the electronics were the hardest part, just getting the lights all wired. I chose the EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) helmet the minute it became unlocked because of its stormtrooper appearance. Kind of the best of both worlds in my opinion.

This is the first time in this suit and I have had so many wonderful comments about it from fans and my peers among the 405th.

One last thing, the Gravity Hammer I am seen wielding in these photos was built by fellow 405th member and Stony Props member, Jim McCrae.
