Feisty, street-wise, witty and clever, Chel is a free spirit who's not afraid to speak her mind (at least to Tulio and Miguel). Well-aware of her own beauty, Chel easily captures the hearts of Tulio, and, to some extent, Miguel.

She is a con-artist and a thief. She dreams to leave her village for the outside world. She knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. Her local knowledge is key to keeping up the Spaniard's facade for as long as possible.
