Carol Ferris is the CEO of Ferris Aircraft. She currently resides in a California, where she is managing her business. She was entangled in an romantic relationship with her co-worker Hal Jordan for a time, until they parted ways.

When wearing the Star Sapphire ring Carol Ferris exhibits powers similar to a Green Lantern, including force blasts, a protective shield and flight. She is only one of a series of Star Sapphires, a lantern corps consisting of only female members that draw their powers from the emotion of love.
